Intellectual Awareness, Social Responsibility, Integrity, and Brotherly Love.
Zeta Beta Tau was founded by Richard J. H. Gottheil of Columbia University in 1898 as a society of New York City area Jewish students. Since 1954, ZBT has been committed to its policy of non-sectarian brotherhood, and values the diversity of its brothers. ZBT will recruit and initiate men of good character, regardless of religion, race, or creed who are accepting of these principles. The Georgia Tech chapter of Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity, Xi Chapter, was founded in 1916. Since its inception, our fraternity, has grown to include 87 active chapters in the United States and Canada.
