Looking for a Few Good Men ZBT is one of the historic fraternities at Georgia Tech, originally founded in 1916. While our chapter is currently not active at Tech, we are looking for a few good men so that we can restart. What does that mean -- this is a great opportunity for a group of motivated college men at Georgia Tech to create a fraternity experience of their own! What do you get by selecting ZBT?
No pledging - ZBT was the first fraternity to abolish pledging. New members are accepted as full members right away -- with the rights and responsibilities thereof.
Brotherhood education - ZBT's educational and developmental programs for brothers span the full spectrum of college life -- from orientation to graduation and career initiation.
House in the Greek Sector - Let's be honest, a fraternity cannot survive at Tech without an on-campus house in the Greek Sector. ZBT's house features many amenities.
Dedicated alumni - ZBT has a strong alumni base from its 100+ year involvement at Georgia Tech, and they can be leveraged for advisement, career networking and more!
History Zeta Beta Tau was founded by Professor Richard J. H. Gottheil of Columbia University in 1898 as a society of New York City area Jewish students. Since 1954, ZBT has been committed to its policy of non-sectarian brotherhood and values the diversity of its brothers. ZBT will recruit and initiate men of good character, regardless of religion, race, or creed who are accepting of these principles.
